A blind, epileptic cat, missing for more than 2 days without her medication. It's not looking good. I might actually go hunting for her myself. *bursts into tears*
Then I went to Uni and the cat never bothered to come into the house that much and never bothered anyone else. However when I’d come home at Christmas the shenanigans would start all over again.
Unfortunately when my cat reached about 13 years old (approx) it became very frail and it was sad to see her loose its appetite and spend all of her time lying near the fire. The cat was old and was going to die of natural causes, so there was little we could do for her. Her last two days were spent entirely by the fire, she did not eat, move, purr or respond to any stimulus.
The next morning I awoke to the sound of clawing outside my door and when I opened the door I found my cat lying there, dying. She had come up one last time, out of instinct probably, as animals usually seek haven when they know they are dying, but in some way I know that she came to “say goodbye”.
I’m not a sentimental person but watching my cat take its last breathe was very moving and I’ve never seen a living creature that I cared for, die. I cried for ages.

But also rather amusing, IMHO.
I say Pet-Euthanasia is right.

Thats quite nasty.
Our cat went missing once. We eventually found it lodged halfway up a tree, trembling like, well, a scoulded cat. It's tail had been badly bitten, probably by an evil fox.
