Is anyone doing this/done this? If so did you do spec A or B? Is it just my imagination or is SpecB so much easier? SpecA you have to do around 500 pages and we only have to do around 150.

Well i have just finished my Excel project and am predicted an A* coursework in that so I'm happy. I have just finished my Access Database but have all the coursework to come with it...

So anyone else doing it/done it and want to gimme any tips or just say they are doing it?

It doesn't matter, you can leave it right up until February to start (if the deadline's due in April) and still get it done in time.

Oh, did a bit of thinking for that - I split it into different sections, although I can't remember them all exactly. Be sure to include:

Analysis of current system (eg. using paper to record stuff, etc)
Feasibility of exisitng solutions (cost, time)

Ermm.... it was a long time ago..

I'm doing A level Computing and basically Access is really easy to use, even though i have never used it before in my life. Basically it's way better than Excel in almost all respects, but in this you can't do graphs on what you did compared to Excel, and you can't doing mathematics inside the cells to work out a sum.

Yeah, just looked at the syllabus, and well... followed it to the bone, elaborating every chance I had...

Our coursework was split into two... an IT project (designing a system for a company, including use of spreadsheets, databa...zzzz...) then a monitoring program which collects data such as temperature, movement.
