It would be a painless mugging though because you could give them one gadget and calmly explain to them that thats a fair deal...
They'd let you go.
If you only had one gadget however, they'd expect you to put up a fight and probably knock you out... THEN rob you of your precious N-Gage

Damn good point. If you're watching a trailer, you'll need to whip out your N Gage.
If your're playing a game, again the N gage is there for all ye crooks to see.

MP3... well, at least you can hide that while playing music.
