Read it and see. Practically all SK's books are good. The Dark Tower series is good. Hearts in Atlantis also worth a look.

The Alex Rider series ROCKS THIS WORLD. I love them. So good for an easy read.

For me they are hard to understand at times, too much going on, and I tried reading it when I was 10 and I couldn't, most of it was too hard!!! Now im 12, I tried again, wicked....
