Um, some one has added me on messenger, with the email address message [email protected].
Saying that i should varify my hotmail address to make sure that i use it. I know that they are asking everyone to verify their account, but i didnt know that they are going to get a messenger bot to do it.

Yes, it's a bot, not a human.

It has asked me to accept a file, download it and then click on it.
SHould i?

Actually you can use ANY email adress.

Robin, in that message, i think they were referring to the MSN chatrooms, not Messenger.

To use messenger you need a hotmail accoun, if you dont submit your password to show that you are still using you account then they will disable it.
