GameCube will be $150.00
The Japanese promos for GC are filtering out and on them GC is listed as launching July 21, 2001 in Japan at 17,800 yen which converted is about $153.00 US dollars. This proves GC will not be $200.00 as some have said and it also proves there will be no delay. Go here to take a look at one of the posters:

As long as they have good game for the launch, then I dont care what the price is, Mario will be mine and I will Have a GC. I will already have a GBA so I have a second control, Nintendo will be planning it all now, the UK office is wokring hard everyday to get it all together, once again I will be importing a GC from Oz.

Im not too bothered about a £200 price tag aslong as we get 2 pads as standard and a Game!

Nintendo should bundle 2 pads as standard as most people didnt have to buy new pads for their PS2s, and so 2 pads would ofset any negative nit picking of the machine buy the press. Nintendo should also sell us the UK the machine at the same price as the US to avoid bad press!

Yes they can SNIPER, a GC disk holds over 3 GB and the biggest ever game rare have released was 260mb (donkey kong and exp pak)
They COULD Fit all there SNES and NES games on one with more than 4 N64 games!

But only if....

I reckon it'll be £200.

I think that if they did release it for £100, then they would get nowhere near as much if it was £200.

This is because people will compare to the PS2 (£3OO), and think, "the GameCube is cheaper!! And also, most people will never know of a console being £100, so they will think that £200 is a good price.

Am I sticking up for Nintendo here?? Sort of, as the price of the PS2 certainly isn't its best feature.

I rekon the GC will cost about 200 when it finally gets released...

However if it did release at 150, I'd stck my deposit on the counter immeadiatly! :) ...

I'd heard that the GC was going to ship with a game, as was standard way back when, which given the choice of MarioStar or a playable demo disc which included Rages back cataloge would be impossible to choose (although if Reages back cataloge included emulations of their Ultimate games, it would be off the shelf and on my tellie in no time :)

Given the size of N64 ROMS, they could easily be sold online and downloaded onto a GC storage/harddisk system... ?!?!

I used to be a member of Club Mario, until THE games stopped doing it for the UK... damn them...

Because Sega are taking a chance with other hardware, and are being heavily supported by another company.

So it is not going to happen!

I'm not sure Venombyte... as long as I can play 8 or more with no lag, I'm happy. :D
