How many people have pre-ordered an Xbox 360? How many people have to wait until some time next year?

And Microsoft claim they make a loss on each console sold...

"Sir, if we release the console at $300 worldwide, we're going to be losing approximately $150 per unit."

"Then lets sell the console at £300 in Europe...hahaha!"

I wouldn't be suprised if Microsoft charge us double by replacing the $ with a £.

Yeah if Nintendo and Sony mysteriously drop out it'll suddenly be $500. :D

I believe it was J Allard that quoted this in a recent interview, although he didn't 100% confirm it as being $300 he did say it was very likely.

Yep $299 is the quoted figure of choice.

It hasn't officially been announced (the price) but on Gamesradar some guy who works for MS said it would be around $300.

Gears of War isn't going to be ready for launch...it's not coming out until next year

Play are probably just covering their bases.

If it's not that price at launch you might get a refund.

Yeah, the pictures, Specs, everything is officially released. They say they might change the Specs before release, but I dunno
