Now when I switch it on all I get is a blank screen and the monitor power light flickers as if it's on standby. I tried resetting the BIOS with the jumper to no avail.
One thing I noticed - the green power light on the computer doesn't go on when I press the power button, yet the fans start spinning, CD-ROM lights up, Hard-Drive light comes on and it spins as usual. Weird.
Is it completely screwed?
Found the Abit NF7-S for £80, but there's just the plain Abit NF7 for £66. What's the difference?
Either take the power lead out the back, or turn the PSU off at the master switch (on the back of the PSU). Turn the machine on at the front several times (ofc it won't actually turn on). Turn the PSU back on (or plug the lead back in) and try again.
T'is the (nforce2) motherboard that i'm getting. I'm probs gonna go for the non deluxe version - check this - its got both.

That was what I thought at first. But no. I even tried another graphics card, but it made no difference.

Ignore what i've just said.
Maybe the connection from the power button has come off the mobo?
