Anyone getting this? It's looking very good indeed and it's just gone gold. Rumour has it that there will be a demo on the 10th or around then with the game being released on the 24th. I must admit I had my doubts as to whether or not this will come out in June but thankfully it is. I haven't read or seen much about this until now because I was trying not to get into all of the hype. Looks like a must have by the looks of it.

Finally got chkdisk to run which hopefully should sort it.

Think my PC is funked. When startig up I keep getting a disk read error.

Had it before and after a while have been able to get it to load up and allow me to run chkdisk which seems to sort it - not this time though :-(

Looks like I might have to replace my C: drive with one of my spare drives.
Means I need to reinstal everything though, which means no bf2 at the moment. Also means I need to try remember my password stuff for bf2 and xfire etc.

Had a few games earlier. Fairly average games.

One bit at the end of the last game I played annoyed me though. Waiting on the aircraft carrier for a jet. Someguy approaches as a jet spawns and he takes it even though its obvious I'm waiting too.

So he dies and spawns on the carrier again, now even more folk are waiting. He jumps in the jet as it spawn only for me to use that big gun to blow him up.

That'll teach you.

Just for chipp. :0)

Clears up a few gameplay issues, like commanders tk'ing for artillery strikes. That new map is diabolical. Good for mucking about, but towards the end you get the sense that everyone has given up because there's no way to play it tactically.

The server browser is still the worst invention in the world.
