Recommendations please (John Woo films only, obviously).
Oh, and what's that Hard Boiled thing like?
Ta.
Face of had some good moments in it and John and Nick (I know them all so we are on a first name basis) had a great time with their parts, so to speak.
But The Rock was just nifty.

will have to gracefully disagree with that.
or not gracefully if you would prefer ;p

But he's a completely different kind of director compared to Cameron and Tarantino, they tend to lean more to the Thriller/Action edge of filmaking while Woo is action all the way.
And Face/Off is a good film, but nothing xcompared to his earlier work. Hard Boiled is my fav, the final climatic shootout in the hospital is excellent in it's full, adrenalin fueled unrealistic quality.
"hey pal, you just f***ed up your ferrari."
"it wasn't mine"

Not. Better. Than. Face/Off. :D
Sean and Nick worked well together.

Better than The Matrix. :P

not bad, but featuring some classic cheese moments
"I'm castor troy! I'm castor troy!" ...
who made "the rock", that was reasonable
