Ok, this is just for my amusement and to get an idea of something.
Here's the scenario, and be honest otherwise you're a stupid virgin that lies to himself/herself over the internet and you stink of shame:

You have been seeing a woman for a couple of weeks. There have been parties, afternoons in sunny parks and evenings watching movies and talking until 3am before driving to work with zero sleep.

You are going to see her this evening.
She announces that she's bought you a CD you've been talking about, "just because you like it and I wanted to" (hint hint at what's to follow)

My question is this:
Seeing as she's got you a CD, Carmina Burana, what would you get her?
She is a huge movie fan with 700+ DVDs and has all of your favourites, this is spooky because you like some weird films.
She likes the same sorts of music, and goes all sopping over the mix CDs you do for her.

So what do you get her in the way of a return trinket?

No catches, just think about what you'd do and reply honestly.
And at 4:30pm just before I leave I'll tell you what I bought her "just because I know you'll like it and I wanted to"

Go

Men are supposed to be able to read women's minds.

but she only gets one ticket. Brilliant idea. So you think she may take another female along too, hmmm, subtle and yet seductive...

I'd buy two tickets to a concert and tell her she can take who she likes

... or ...

I'd cook her a meal of her favourite food and make some kind of special dessert with some effort put into it (as I never usually cook)

Cool. I've got two tickets for the premier of ROTK in London. I'm sitting next to McKellan and the young lady is sitting next to Jackson. In fact I'm also going to be in the DVD extended version of ROTK as an orc, because Jackson is filming some more scenes in order to fill in some plot holes. The young lady is playing an elven temptress.

This is what I'd be saying if I had golden balls.

Don't buy:

Chocolates
Flowers
Jewellery
Perfume
Stuffed Toys
Anything Thats loads more expensive than what she gave you.

That would look like a) you want a commitment out of her b) your a show off

Don't buy anything too thoughtful for her if your not in for the long haul. Maybe a book that she might like, or take her out somewhere (movie, dinner etc). Or a comedy gift, like Twister(the game), and then suggest playing Strip Twister together.
