This will have no effect anywhere, it is just a curious thread to see who wants the Euro to replace the pound. So nothing except "Yes" (For Euro) or "No"(Against Euro) in this thread please. I'll start.

The Euro would probably mean that certain companies will take advantage of this new currency and try and rip people of.

Yes.

It'd be nice, but I don't know if it'd really be in our best interests.
If it wouldn't, then no. I'd let an independent team of what the plural for genius is decide.

Yes.

Our lives are dominated by money and taxes already, so I can't see what iota of difference it would make. So why "yes"? I dunno... I think I always prefer change. - This is not a very good reason is it...

No.

I, like the majority of the public in this country, feel a general resentment towards some unknown but clearly anti-british entity existing somewhere in the high echelens of the EU.

I have nothing to back this up besides the opinions subconsciously picked up from what the media has told me over the twenty years I've been alive for.

Keep the pound. Keep the monarchy. Let's at least keep something to help us feel that we're not slowly but surely being consumed by a politically correct multicultural subdivision of some faceless beaucracy.

I have the Euro here and it was great changing from the punt. You don't get ripped off as some would suggest in the changeover and it is extremely handy for holidays to other Euro countries and their neighbours, who on the most part will also accept Euro. Even quite a few English shops will take it I've found.
