Excuse my ignorance, please.

I used to think my DVD player was on the blink, but it turns out it's the lead connecting the TV to the Video. On some DVDs I get a nasty flickering on the telly which tends to not go away.

Now, I know one end is SCART, but the other end... isn't. I think it's RF, it's just like a normal TV connection, a round port. Is it RF? Does that mean I need to buy an RF to Scart lead?

Thanks.

Kiss your feet?

You’re not Jesus you know. Although the thorns in the hair, (from being dragged through that bush backwards), does make it a little difficult to differentiate.

Does the round bit of the cable have just the one pin (That's an RF lead) or lots of little ones?
Cos if it's a load of lil' pins then you're using an S-Video lead.

Goto www.ixos.co.uk, expensive but bling blingin' and they're good cables too.

If one end is a SCART and the other is an RF, then I think a SCART to RF would be the way to go :D

I also know jack all about leads. I have my leads all running through each other. My DVD, video and TV all run through a block thingy, with an ANT whatcha-magiger, I think that's where my DVD to TV one is.

Correct me, anyone?

Ok, the RF is to the aerial (just like older consoles you would buy an RF cable to connect through the aerial). The scart cable could be damaged though (maybe one of the pins causes the flickering). RF cables aren't expensive so just invest and see what works. :)
