I'm trying to remember the quote about Yorkshire from Beiderbeck, but I just can't. Me harties.

For some reason I honestly cannot recall, whenever I talk to this kid I know on AIM from South Africa, we always exchange "Arr, me harty!" and other pirate cliches. It must have started as a joke (since being a geordie, I say "aye", like a pirate) but now we do it all the time.

Goatboy would have you believe pink spandex is involved, but alas, 'tis not. Sorry, Goaty.

No no no, if you're from Yorkshire, you can put 't' at the beginning of any word and get away with it quite easily.
Now Saggy's probably not from Yorkshire, but I am, so what I say goes.

You've got it all wrong Saggy. You use "t'" when there's actually a word there that's shortened. Like "put it on't' table" etc. I know these things.
