No word of a lie.

I saw it in the local paper for £500 ONO so I called up to look at it.

A bright red 924 eligible for classic car insurance. MoT had run out a few months ago and there was a crack in the windscreen that needed replacing so I offered the guy £400 and he said yes.

Bargain!

Now I have a Porsche sitting outside my house ready for some tender loving treatment. It need a few things done to it before I can get the MoT done but I'm looking forward to cruising around in it.

My and my Porsche.

I'd like to point out that Hooplah (sometimes poster here and mate) bought himself a TVR Cerbera 2 weeks ago.
That thing *flies*

On private property I hope :D

I have always wanted to own a 911, and I will…someday.

Adapt it so you have an oxygen tank and stretcher on board and claim its a personal ambulance, you won't have to pay any insurance. ;)

Some idiot had previously thrown some paint stripper on the bonnet, though. I'll need to get the bonnet resprayed.

Stupid idiots.

Once it's done up and everything's above board, I don't see why not...

No wheel spinning in Tesco's carpark, though - or i'll have to banish you from the face of the earth.

I'm finding out tomorrow. Since it's a classic car and I'm over 25 (just!) I reckon it'll be around £350-500 per year.
