No word of a lie.

I saw it in the local paper for £500 ONO so I called up to look at it.

A bright red 924 eligible for classic car insurance. MoT had run out a few months ago and there was a crack in the windscreen that needed replacing so I offered the guy £400 and he said yes.

Bargain!

Now I have a Porsche sitting outside my house ready for some tender loving treatment. It need a few things done to it before I can get the MoT done but I'm looking forward to cruising around in it.

My and my Porsche.

I was actually thinking of upgrading to a Veranda 911.

He he he.

You should have bought a Porch Turbo.

Nah, it's galvanised steel so it's in very good nick. It's might look a bit dodgy but what the hell? It's a Porsche damn it!

I was working on it this weekend - sorting out minor things wrong with it.

I bought a porch the other day as well. Doesn't go very fast, in fact it hasn't moved at all since I parked it right outside my door.

I love TVRs wish I could have a ride in one. The New shape Tuscan is the one of the finest looking cars ever in my view.

As for your porsche, it's one of those old capri lookalike sheds isn't it? And for £400 it's got to be a skip on wheels. Just a thought.

For a couple of grand you could get an old, old shape 911, now that's got to be worth the extra dough.

Of course, the insurance would be a b*tch

It really is the Japanese Mercedes.

I've probably got that horribly wrong. But anyway, 911's suck. In fact, the whole of the Western world hates 911.
