Not showing Guy Pearce's latest film, The Hard Word, which is released tomorrow. It's an Aussie-indie film with Rachael Griffiths in as well. Would've been class, saw a trailer for it at this very Cineworld. Guy Pearce is, along with William H Macy, Alan Rickman, Sean Bean and Jason Lee, my favourite actor. Actually, that's quite a few. No matter.

Instead Bruce Willis is going to run about a jungle for a bit and Angelina Jolie is going to be on about 4 screens. It's a shame, a crying shame. If your cinema is, by any remote chance, not retarded - go see this. It looks amazing.

I guess I'll have to go and see The Sin Eater. With Heath Ledger. Priesthood intrigue, immortal Pope-type guy, fighting demons Buffy-style. Might be good, as long as Nike don't sponser the rosaries or anything.

He didn't. He sucked. Another thing I hated about those films. They weren't that bad, but could have been a lot better with a few things taken out or changed. Seen Been for one.

Knights Tale, not First Knight, you spasmoid. You obviously know nothing about films. First Knight was the one with Sean Connery and Richard Gere. Knights Tale is the one with Nike sponsered armour.

Bean was the best Bond villian since Goldfinger. He manages to not get overshadowed by De Niro in Ronin, had fun hamming it up with Indy in Patriot Games, did a superb cameo type role in Equilibrium, and I'll be damn surprised if he doesn't steal every scene as Odyessus in Troy, or the Trojan War, whatever they call it.

And he ruled asangry, bitter, conflicted Boromir. Who's to say the men of Gondor don't have Northern accents? None of you have been there, and I have. So there.

I stand by your opinion as well. I can't shake off the image of a Northener, even when he's in Middle Earth.

And I don't love Heath Ledger, I don't even know who he is.

Yeah, yeah.

*Holds hand up to admit error*

Got a bit excited there. Love Bill H Macy, Alan Rickman and Jason Lee. Still, Guy Pearce and Rachel Griffiths is good enough on it's own. My local is a Cineworld too - may have to take a trip to Cambridge.

Still stand by my Sean Bean being rubbish opinion though...
