You have access to my personal details, not sent to you - meant for somebody else.

You have just admitted reading personal and private information.

But that's not what's made me furious.

I take my privacy extremely seriously.
But not as seriously as The British Legal System does.

I'm just *extremely* angry about this, not just because of my involvement but the problems caused to others with hotmail accounts that may have paypal/ebay/bank details in.

no i think the problem is he views himself as the only victim of others malpractice. You know for a fact nobody is going to do so, i typed let this drop ealrier on, in my god awful thread earlier on, full in the knowledge that it wouldn't, this is a chat forum and issues in it will get responses by there very nature. Its not just youur concern if there are dodgy chaacters preying on users of this site, this is a general issue applicable to all of us, and although you may have been more directly effected; what you have to say on the issue and the way in which people and the culprit react to it is our concern. I back you on the issue that privacy is our right, and that we have a right to be angry and take action if others comprimise it, but you have to realise that you are not the only one effected by such issues. Your original point is not diluted by the follow ups as it is always there at the top of every page and is always read first by anyone entering the page

This is an interception of an email outside of SR, it has zero to do with anyone here apart from me, Hedfix who had his account compromised and Shaneo.

Am I? Gee thanks! I haven't spent the evening taking this issue up with people that do that for a job, I thought I'd ask the opinions of people that don't even understand "Please dont spam this".

Goatboy - that is fine, I don't think getting involved is an issue as it's apart of SR and we are a community here. But as long as you get some decent full proof info about who it was and that it has affected you in some way then you are in your rights to take this further.

What does it take?
What do I have to do to not have something intended for 1 person to slide under the weight of comment from people that have nothing to do with it?

Wow, I have been lurking in the depths of another well known forum, I come back to good old SR to find all this happening.

Well, I am well and truely confused. In a truly confusing way.
