Does anyone know if its possible to get firewall software to use on a 133MHz processor? Most seem to run on at least 150MHz. I might just get a new pc but I only want it for surfing and want broadband

Yes I saw it. Smoothwall is a version of the linux operating system, and has been modified and set up for use as a sort of firewall. It is dificult to explain without getting a bit technical.

Bottom line is smoothwall is not on windows. If you want to use your PC for more normal, everyday things like typing letters in Microsoft Word, you want to stick with Windows. Turbonutter is a PC hobbyist and runs linux. Hence his advice is aimed at people with a lot of technical knowledge. I would not recommend you try smoothwall or anything unless you really know what you are doing.

No different, people. Ortega thought that as I said ignore Turbonutter, meaning what he said in your other thread, that I meant El Robin. They are not the same. You could possibly still have problems, even if you install the USB support (which you have to do because it isn't installed as standard).

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Just a quick note to say thanks for a very good service ... in fact excellent service..
I am very happy with your customer service and speed and quality of my broadband connection .. keep up the good work . and a good new year to all of you at freeola.
