Well you get told as a youngster when you're defending to stop the opponent scoring and well technically he did stop the player scoring :D

I still like that Portsmouth own goal this season a match or so back. Corner comes in, defender bends down hoping the ball doesn't come to him and smacks him off the head and straight in the goal. Expert finish.

Ian Dowie scored a cracking own goal when he played for West Ham, it was a bullet of a header against Stockport in the league cup I think ?

it was a stunning left footed strike, right in the bootom corner and he was under pressure. shame it was the wrong goal though. oh well. atleast we still won. usually hes quite good in attack, so maybe hes hinting to wenger about whether he should loan jeffers or not.

:D

hasselbainks was class. best one ive seen was from the second division or something, when a defender on the edge of the area knocked a high ball back to the keeper. it went nicely into the top corner, with the goalie jumping like a salmon.

You're all wrong.

The best own goal EVER was Dabizas for Newcastle last season (or was it the season before). A spectacular diving header that would have made an defender proud. Except it was into the back of his own net.

To this day, I'll never understand why he did it.

Yeah, I couldn't understand why Lauren did it. He wasn't under immense pressure. He probably did get a push but he could have easily kicked it out of play from what I could see.

He seemed to panic and scored a classic OG.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
