What's your summer holiday been like? Any good? Did you go anywhere or do anything special? Basically, to make conversation, what did you do over the hols? Are you looking forward to school/college/uni?

I've done crap all over the holidays. Messed around with my friends a lot, and spent just as much time playing games or on the internet. My family rarely goes on holiday, but it doesn't bother me because I'm not really a 'holiday person' anyway.

I'm moving schools to do my AS/A-Levels, and I start on Monday. It's a very strict place; you're not allowed to take off your blazer at any time, and are only allowed to carry your schoolbag on your right shoulder. Urk. There's more too. Bah.

I'm the only one going so I won't know anyone there. Ah well, a chance to make some new friends I suppose.

Everyone goes on holiday sometime during the holidays. I haven't been on holiday at all since 1997. I spent my first week or so feeling lonely with sod all to do, so I just played around on my PC. After that week, the kids started playing outside so I decided to join them. They're only two years younger than me, so I didn't mind. And I've been seeing them nearly every day afterwards, just talking outside, or playing games like tennis, football, ricket and stuff like that. And that's all I did over the holidays. I got lonely again though when they all went on holiday. My schoolmates live too far away to see very often.

Oh yeah, I played a few games of pool on my pool table in my living room with them.

It's been generally better than other years where I just stayed in and played computer game aaaaalllllll day. Much better, a lot more fun.

over summer i got pis*ed repeatedly, soaked up some rays, didn't go abroad as I couldn't afford it, and that's it.

great huh? and now we have the winter to look forward to .... getting up 20 mins early to stumble outside shivering uncontrollably to defrost your car, seemingly endless darkness, being skint due to forking out for christmas presents, and shortening our lives considerably with drinking binges.
