This week I are been mostly playing:
Mario Party 2.
At the weekend my brother came over, and my sister-in-law was staying with us, so we had a couple of games.
Both of which I won.
I just love those mini-games!

SMAC is a superb game. I've got it on my Mac. Me and one of my mates just sit there infront of the screen conducting secret projects and the such. We played it fro 16 hours straight once.
Infact it's not actually that hard a game to beat. Just keep trying and you'll get there!

SMAC is a superb game. I've got it on my Mac. Me and one of my mates just sit there infront of the screen conducting secret projects and the such. We played it fro 16 hours straight once.

This week i have been mostly playing No mercy as it is bloody excellent and Zelda Majora's Mask as it is the sequal to the greatest game ever byt i completed it this week and it was so hard to say goodbye {sob}.
When I've had a few moments to actually use my PC I've been mostly playing Sudden Strike. I picked up a second hand copy on monday and I've only reached the third mission so far (hey, I haven't been on my PC much this week, work seems to get in the way these days - at least I can still access this site at work!)
Sudden Strike is now officially my favorite war game. The level of detail and realism mean that it has one up on the Command & Conquer series and you even find yourself getting attached to the characters. Controlling all your vehicles is really simple, something that a lot of other strategy games lack, and the whole atmosphere that's built up from the graphics and sound makes you feel like you're in WW2.
However, I will always have a soft spot for command and conquer and red alert, which I occasionally go back to (although someone else is borrowing them at the moment, so I can't) as these games really defined the genre.
