Serie A has come a long way. The champions league final may have given a bad outlook on italian football but i watched quiet a few matches last season and most of it was top stuff.
Neither crespo or mutu would either. Well maybe at man utd.
Crespo would get into the man utd and arsenal attack. Easily parnter henry/van nistelrooy.
Fergie had veron as a first team regular regardless of his performances.
Mutu was one of the hottest pieces of property in italian football and again would easily get into the man utd/arsenal side. A poll was done on eurosport for which striker fergie should buy to partner van nist months before Mutu signed for chelsea and he came out top by a landslide.
As someone on sky pointed out not so long ago, how many of their signings would actually start for man utd or arsenal apart from maybe Duff.
The answer i tell you....none.
Thankyou.

Vieri had some words to say about the matter, but that was on a banner from protesting inter fans during the pirelli cup.
Why would you want Makalele? Chelsea have about 8 or 9 decent midfielders already, I cant see him improving the squad all that much.
He scored all the goals when Argentina were qualifying for the world cup but the idiot biesla decided to start old man batty up front instead for the world cup. idiot. Argentina would have got much further in the world cup had Crespo started.
Crespo will be among the top scorers this season *if* he plays week in week out.
