Fianlly the goal scorer! Crespo has just been introduced on pitch! in half time on the zilina game, all done and dusted! Now we have another top striker to challenge with, All looking very good! Maybe Mackalele by the end of the week!

Serie A has come a long way. The champions league final may have given a bad outlook on italian football but i watched quiet a few matches last season and most of it was top stuff.

Thank you someone who agrees at last. I'm fed up of chelsea getting all these players and saying, 'oh he's going to be the best in the league etc.' cos none of them will.
As someone on sky pointed out not so long ago, how many of their signings would actually start for man utd or arsenal apart from maybe Duff.

Italian fans have something of a bad reputation, with their huge love of their clubs.This is partly because of fans known as 'Ultras' who cause riots when their team is underperforming. I have read of reports of rubbish, bins, seats and plumbing from the toilets(true!) being thrown at players.

Why would you want Makalele? Chelsea have about 8 or 9 decent midfielders already, I cant see him improving the squad all that much.
