I need to buy a laptop for Uni and, well, I don't know where to look.

I'd go with Dell as they were rated the best when I last checked but they are a bit pricey.

Does anybody have any ideas of any good RELIABLE retailers who sell good RELIABLE machines?

Anyone who says Time or Tiny gets a slap!

Thanks.

There is a magazine, What Laptop, flick through it in Smiths, make sure it has a 3D chip built in if you want to play games. There was a Sony one with DVD burner built in for £999 from Dixons I think last week.

Also Comet.co.uk are fairly cheap

You need a Laptop or a PC or life will be incredibly awkward, especially at Leicester where the rooms are like 5 billion miles away from the actual learny part of it. (It's late!)

Plus I can play games on it when I'm bored!
