I need to buy a laptop for Uni and, well, I don't know where to look.
I'd go with Dell as they were rated the best when I last checked but they are a bit pricey.
Does anybody have any ideas of any good RELIABLE retailers who sell good RELIABLE machines?

I got it today. I'm on it at the moment.
It's nice and fast, I just hate the fiddly keyboard!
Got a built in webcam so I can look at myself too!
It plays Vice City fine in 1024x768 resolution so I'm sorted now!
And apart from the MsBlaster worm (and other similar ones) which I picked up within a minute of being connected to the net, everything's been fine. It was a sod to get rid of it though, I couldn't download the file quick enough so I had to transfer it from another PC!

There aren't any Dell laptops on that site and the Samsung ones are expensive.
What do you think? I'm gonna get it unless you've got anything you know that may help me. Like all Iridium laptops power themselves by a small nuclear reactor inside, and you need to dispose of the waste daily...

I have a Dell system at work and have never had any probs and the flat screen monitor's picture quality is amazing
