Apparently, the update on what could be the greatest game of all time, features little, to no update at all. The issues regarding the swimming and slow pace at the start are still there. There are no new sections and in fact some have been removed because they weren't that good in the first place. What happened to improving them Rare?
And apparently the multiplayer too is heavily lacking and that the N64's multiplayer modes were superior.
So what is exactly the point in me getting this game?
Gee RARE, thanks a bunch.

The Donkey Kong Racing game being produced by Rare (before they hopped off to Microsoft) that was due for release on the Cube looked amazing. The dvd's that were given away weeks before the release of the Cube in the UK had game footage and it was one of the games I was most looking forward to. Shame it was canned. :-(

Wolfenstein.
Also the game has shades of Battlefront.

Hahahahaha.
Diddy Kong racing was a poor Mario Kart clone with rubbish handling and a pish attempt at battle mode. Single player was better, granted, but Mario Kart's multiplayer easily made up for that.
Although I admit to marmite itself, I am rather indifferent. I don't love or hate it.

??
MK64 was sooo boring as a one player game, and there was no atmosphere in the multiplayer. It was one of Rare's finest, but was definitely a bit of a marmite.
