I was given the idea of this thread having read MS NY’s topic about a problem of hers.

I’ll start. I get really anxious whenever I have to have my blood pressure taken, don’t know why, I just hate it.

So, anyone else got any?

Even if the plane didn't rush you, I think you'd be damn scared if it started to crahs with you in it

Air crash - midair it'll be decompression of the plane, on the ground, fire. So you either get sucked out and killed, or burned alive and killed.

Kick. Punch. It's all the mind.
If you wanna test me - I'm sure you'll find.
The things I'll teach ya,
Are sure to beat ya,
But nevertheless, let's take a lesson from teacher now:

Kick.
And punch.

Duck.
And turn.

Somebody stop me!

Yeah, it's like if you think you're gonna be bored for something, then you will be.

Another thing is when you know you are perfectly safe, but still are afraid to do something, liek of you're in a really strong harness ready to hang several hundred feet in the air, you know the harness wil hold you, but you're still afraid.

Did anyone see that Human Senses thing about touch.

They did this thing about pain - gave 10 people those sugar pills (placebos, yar) and told 5 of them it would make them feel more pain and the other 5 that it would dull any pain.

They gave them all small electric shocks and the 1st group reacted really badly to the shocks and had to stop way before the others.

See? It's all in the mind.

I was showed some of the stuff taken off people on the street the other day. Flick knives galore, a proper mace, nun-chucker (SP?) and a HUGE hunting knife.
