As the commentator said if the linesman was so eagle eyed to notice cudicini 2 foot off his line how did he get the throw in so incredulously wrong, would have been a harsh way to lose 3 points, but fortunately it was us who did the last minute robbery at anfield this year! lol. Thoroughly entertaining match.

lampard = a good player who has developed well of late. first season he wasnt all that, but he looks good now.

i thought veron was pretty good first half. he had good vision and that pass to gudjohnsen was something else. second half he was pretty dodgy. I'm more than happy with the result, better than we usually do there and will help to silence a few scouse fans i know. Geremi had another average performance and needs to get wide more. Lampard was the best midfielder by a country mile, and cudicini needs drugs testing for those 2 first half saves! lol. gudjohnsen didn't look that sharp but hasselbaink was working hard, this could be what he needs, a goal early on its the kind of thing that may respark his 30 goal a season form and personally i'd run with him for the mo.

veron was shat except for his good play in the goal. hasselbaink looked hungry. team looked ok in general, there were a few wobbly patches but nothing major. i would say that you probably deserved the points. as for the linesmen, i thought the fa said no more visually impared people would be hired to ref.
