is it like an auction in the way that once you put it in, it has to stay there until sold, or can you withdraw or reject someones offer. about paying, it says that they send the buyers details to you. whats to stop them or you from over charging? finally, whats the success rate of these second hand sales generally.

Postage costs however much you specify and amazon automatically bill it to the buyer, the rating system gives a guide to peoples credibility and amazon will step in if anyone claims anything...
I've been trading on amazon for ages though and never had any probs...
*touching wood
Oh you can withdraw the game without any probs. before 60 days are up
i was talking about marketplace. i want the cash within 60 days which i can get elsewhere, but for less. am i committed to the 60 days or can i withdraw the game after say 18 days?
i understand the card thing almost. basically buyer pays amazon, amazon pay you. you are forced to send game because amazon can take from your account if you dont.

If you choose to ONLY accept amazon payments (Highly recommended) then people can only pay you by card and the funds will enter your amazon account within minutes of clearance, and amazon takes care of all that.

You can either choose to auction your stuff or sell it on marketplace for a fixed price. On marketplace the listing lasts for 60 days or until sold.On marketplace obviously you cant not refuse a buyer because they can only offer what you asked for.
On auctions the listing lasts for a set time which you choose and is usually under 7 days you can only choose to reject an offer if you have chosen to have a reserve price below which you wont sell...
there simplified things for you
i want to know the security of my money and whether im committed to selling it on there once i list it.
But I will tell you that thats where I sell ALL my stuff and it kicks the crap out of eBay...
