1st in the country for Foreign Languages, yeeaah.

However, I'm not doing Foreign Languages, so what do I care? I'm doing Biology, and York's something like 2nd or 3rd for that. I dunno if I'll get in..

Yeah, I'm kidding, I'm hugely egotistical, of course I'll get in. So where you going, Starlight old boy?

Drop out - EVENS.

Anyway, "Home Ec" doesn't mean you can cook. I got a B in my "Food Technology" course (my lowest grade, ironically no one in the school achieved higher than a B in that subject), and can I cook? Can I hell. Basically you have to invent recipes on your own (your Mum does it) and then cook it and tehn write an evaluation. Then answer some questions about food poisoning next week. They don't actually teach you how to cook, they teach you how to evaluate your cooking in essay style.

The result is I can't cook. But at least now I actually KNOW that I can't cook, and can give myself a U.

GCSEs are pointless, true.

But A-Levels are a respected exam sys...I'm sorry, I can't even type that without laughing. I'd better get the grades so I can get the only qualification that matters - a degree.

I learn if the Strykester is going to York on Thursday, or if he's going to be a dropout. Odds?

I blame the exam boards, you should have been penalised more than that!

A) you gained an unfair advantage on students who were disciplined and concised enough to obey the rules.

B) 11000 words on a level fluvial environments is actually not possible with out severe waffling (i should know i do geography).

C)I got 81 for mine when i did it and did, and it was at the word limit, an extra 8000 words is so unnesscesary and a waste of time. In the end what you probably got 2% more on your a-level, once all the marks have been scaled, a sum which would have been easily surpassed by extra revision done whilst collating and writing the additional 8000 words.

I still should have started it by now, I don't even have a book.

BUt, I should be able to read it quite quickly, it takes me about 4-5 hours to read a 500 page book. I should be fine.
