No one will doubt that Man Utds pre-season form has been highly impressive, winning all four games comfortably against high quality opposition. Well, not counting Celtic...

But what stands out for me is the free-scoring manner in which the games were won.

4-0
3-1
4-1
3-1

14 goals in 4 games is stunning form, with Van Nistelrooy looking as deadly as ever, it's interesting to note that one Diego Forlan matched him with four goals in four game each.

Now, I for one have not come to associate Forlan with that kind of prolific form. And he could also have had a couple more were it not for a few "should have been a goal" gaping misses.

It would be nice if Forlan can take that form back to the Premiership and make his mark after doing well to score 9 goals last season.

If Fergie sells him now then he's a bigger idiot then i gave him credit for. First off it's not like we're exactly strapped for cash so we don't need the money, secondly Veron is playing like the man of old and THAT goal from Ruud should go down as one of the best ever, not only for Ruud's finish but also for the incredible pass Veron made to make it and thirdly it's stupid to sell one of our best players to probably the team that will be challenging us for the title this year, plus potential champions league opponents. If they must sell him send him back to Italy where he won't be able to damamge our title hopes. However a United team with Veron in it is alot better than one without if he's played in the right position

Ive had the pleasure of watching every match on this tour and United have looked awesome, the 'spring' is back into United's step and it was great wathing the slick movement and passing.

They have literally blown away all opposition on this tour and the new signnings have had a good run out with Tim Howard making some amazing saves from the likes of Kluivart, Davids, Del Piero et al

Ruud has started off where he finished off last season and with some fantastic goals on the turn and Seba as been playing the best ive ever seen him (like the way he played in that 5-3 win at White Hart Lane) I just think United will sell him to Chelsea and they will be making a mistake in doing so because I think this is the season where he will trully show his best.

Just a note on Diego Forlan, even though he has scored 4 goals on this tour he has equally missed loads of chances, one being about literally 3 yards out with no goal keeper in the goal!! I think it will go down as the worst miss ever. His overall link play is pretty smooth, but he needs to improve his aiming if he is to make it at United.
