But what stands out for me is the free-scoring manner in which the games were won.
4-0

14 goals in 4 games is stunning form, with Van Nistelrooy looking as deadly as ever, it's interesting to note that one Diego Forlan matched him with four goals in four game each.
Now, I for one have not come to associate Forlan with that kind of prolific form. And he could also have had a couple more were it not for a few "should have been a goal" gaping misses.
It would be nice if Forlan can take that form back to the Premiership and make his mark after doing well to score 9 goals last season.
*takes a moment to laugh at Ronaldinho's comment that Barca were "in the same class" as United*

I watched that game live on fox Sports, and it is without doubt the worst miss i have ever seen. He deserves a medal....
It had been a superb pre-season - and in so-many ways!
We've bought-in some great players, and there's still space for one-or-two more, yet.
Offloaded some space-wasters.
Made a good profit (which'll keep Kenyon happy).
The new signings have all impressed.
And, of course, we've gotten some great results.
And now, beating Arsénal at Cardiff would be the icing-on-the-cake! :D
I read something on Ceefax (I think?) that said Ronaldinho was "overshadowed by Diego Forlan" - and that just makes me laugh! :D

*ahem*, ok then, let's forget it.
