I know there are already little specifications to become a moderator on the site, but lets here from the frontline troops. Any things that are cool about being a moderator, and what you think it takes to become one?

User types

To add to that page - if you are a moderator of a different forum than the one you post in then people see the colour but not the moderator wording.

Odd.....

I do not know much about the working of the forum to be honest, Butch may know why, he seems the top (forum) dog.

I imagine it has something to do with the thread creator, or type, and what exact access you have on each "section". :S

Whoa i'm confused now. Can you be a moderator without actually having moderator under your name? Because i've noticed that the 'regular' status can be different colours. Like pb has moderator under his name in light blue, Hmmm has 'regular' in light blue, but machie has regular in purple. Little help here? :D

As a moderator I notice sometimes I can:
Delete Post | Make Thread Sticky

And sometimes I can:
Bar User | Edit Post | Make Thread Sticky

Anyone know why the functionality seems to change?
