In 1981 i was born and lost my dad in 1984. He died as he suffered a brain tumor. So i did not get to know my dad, i cant actually remember anything about him or remember even seeing him. Yeah ive seen pictures of him and heard his voice on a tape but thats about it. So ive not really had a dad in my life.

I have a step dad, i would not class him as ever being there for me at all. He is the dad to one of my sister Stephanie so its hard to see him always being a dad to her. My mums husband now however is really nice man and ive never seen her this happy. He is great to get along with. But still it isnt my real dad.

What also hurts is when my sister Stephanie use to always say things in a heat of an arguement such as HE's MY DAD....and....AT LEAST IVE GOT A DAD, i never thought my little sis could ever get to me.

Do you think i have missed out an awful lot with not having my real dad around. Sometimes i sit and think to my self What if he was still around what would my life have been like if he was still here.

Yeah he is still with me, im so glad dont know where i would be without him. My sis has a 3 month old baby, the dad is still around but they are constantly rowing about everything and can also be violent towards each other...(not the baby tho) my sis is 20 and her partner is 32. Age to me dont matter but it could be the problem but hes defenetly a mummys boy and i think thats what she dont like.
