OK, I wasn't THAT bad, but it's a pretty good rendition of what happened.
The MoJo is going to Thailand in October (assuming I get my passport in time) and today he had some injections. Had some at high school, which last for 10 years so I only needed a couple today, and it was a combined injection. Needle was tiny, but I looked away anyway, since I’m such a girl. When I had my measles when I was 10, I looked and it freaked me out a bit. Five minutes later I felt ill and ended up on the floor with a green tinge to my face. Ah, happy memories…
Barely felt it, but as the nurse was talking to me about needing a booster in 6 months, what else I can catch, yadda yadda yadda, I started to feel a bit light headed. Like when you're working out and exhaust yourself, and you need to sit down because your head is spinning. She noticed and asked if I was OK, said I should lie on the bed for a bit. Felt better, got up and went back into the waiting room (you're meant to hang around for 5 minutes to make sure you don't have a bad reaction)
Felt like I was going to throw up, ended up lying down across a couple of the seats, staring at the ceiling. Oh, and my hands started tingling. Felt kinda cool. After a few minutes I walked back home, still feeling a bit crap but a fair bit better than I had been.
Arm's stinging a little right now, but that's OK. Still feel a bit crap. I don't think it was the needle that bothered me (had my BCG with no problem, and a few more injections back in high school as well) but if not the needle, what then? I'm just a coward, heh. Only getting 6 hours sleep and only having two pieces of fruit this morning for breakfast probably didn’t help.
Gotta get it boosted in 6 months so it lasts for like 10 years, and since I paid a tenner, I want my money's worth.
Bah, and there was me thinking I was dead 'ard! Grr.
Well not really... the right arm of my shirt went red last year when it bled like a fountain.
I'm 'ard me.
