Hi, I'm finally back from holiday. It was a nightmare of a day. We got to Madrid aeroport, went through the x-ray scanner thing and then to our gate. The next thing we knew, we had to be moved to another gate for some reason. The plane had arrived, but we had to wait for three hours, just sitting in the aeroport. Apparently they hadn't checked the luggage properly so they had to use sniffer dogs to snif at our bags. That took about two hours. And then they had to look at a few people's hand bagagge and then we were finally allowed to leave. When we got to Heathrow, we had to wait a few minutes to get a bagagge and then when we were about to leave, the fire alarm went off. We then got a taxi and drove home. I was exhausted.

Got thrown out hotel room at 10am. We had to waste the day in the baking heat, left at about 9. 1 hour bus journey with annoying people from Glasgow. Get to Palma airport. 4 hour delay - NOOOOOO
Get in departure lounge... even though it's second busiest airport in Europe the shops don't open at night. The delay keeps getting longer... 6 hours, 7 hours, 8 hours, 9 hours, 10 hours, 11 hours
And finally 11 and a half... which means they got away without giving us a free room or something.
Got on plane nackered... pilot says be 'polite' to staff as they've been flying for 24 hours... which makes me paranoid we're all going to die.
Get to Glasgow airport. Everyone is so tired we pick up 'our' cases. When I say 'our' I mean they look identical but they were somebody elses. Get home after 45 min drive... answering machine message from person with out cases NOOOO
Parents need to go get cases, I got to bed.
