"I'm back from holiday."

Hi, I'm finally back from holiday. It was a nightmare of a day. We got to Madrid aeroport, went through the x-ray scanner thing and then to our gate. The next thing we knew, we had to be moved to another gate for some reason. The plane had arrived, but we had to wait for three hours, just sitting in the aeroport. Apparently they hadn't checked the luggage properly so they had to use sniffer dogs to snif at our bags. That took about two hours. And then they had to look at a few people's hand bagagge and then we were finally allowed to leave. When we got to Heathrow, we had to wait a few minutes to get a bagagge and then when we were about to leave, the fire alarm went off. We then got a taxi and drove home. I was exhausted.

I was stuck in Jersey for like 6 hours or something. Was there on holiday with the family years ago, and you had to leave the hotel place at like 9, and our flight wasn't until later. We cruised around a bit, then went to the aiport (still a fair bit early) And the flight was delayed by hours. And hours. And hours. And I tell you, the airport there isn't anything like the ones I've been in in Amsterdam or Washington/Detroit. Nothing to do at all, and I was so young I wasn't even into drinking at the time. Bah, that day sucked. 6 hour wait for a flight that takes less than an hour.

Unless you go to a Siberian Uranium mine.

I thought the idea of a holiday was to get away from the usual activities of everyday life?

I went on the 'puter for 10 minutes on holiday when I was waiting for my beatch to get her stupid self ready to go out.

He's young, it's not like he's gonna be out getting lashed every night so he's gotta fill his time with something. When I was young and used to go on holiday with my parents, it was always a chore.
