Right, I've decided it's finally time to sort myself out and put my Walkman to the grave. It's a great Walkman, mind, imported from Japan, finished in chrome but that's not the issue here.

I've decided to get a MD player but I wish to know whether anyone can recommend one to me? Obviously I'll be backing up all my cd's onto it.

So, opinions will be greatly received. Stupid half-wit comments won't.

All the people I know who have minidisc players have had them go wrong on them, but that's probably just bad luck. I would recommend an mp3 CD player, especially if you have lots of mp3s, but it is difficult (and expensive) to get hold of a good one.

I havnt got one @ the moment. And probably wont seeing as i drive everywhere these days and have a decent enough system.

I used to have a sony one and would always stick with them.

I'd get one of these if i were getting a MD though.
