Same as the RAW thread. You all seem to think it's a good idea so I made a smackdown thread. Just discuss what happens on smackdown, week in, week out. Remember NO SPOILERS but if you really have to post one, make sure you give everyone a chance to watch the show.

P.S. Lets keep this different from Your Shout.

I try to...but it's hard to forget things like Snitsky being used in a main event.

Hehe i feel exactly the same. They could use the time they give to the divas for some ..... oh i don't know ... actual wrestling perhaps?!?! They have no place at all on a wrestling show in my opinion and are there for some cheap ratings which unfortunately they seem to get in the first week although thankfully it's dropped back down again (which surprisingly i didn't hear JR mention after crowing about the ratings the previous week, what's wrong there cowboy eh? :-D)

Though when it comes to RAW i find it's a good idea to just wipe everything from memory as quickly as possible

Yes, I can still vividly remember that balcony-sault and I've not watched the PPV since a couple of days after it was originally aired. I watched Raw last night and I can barely recall anything noteworthy from it. The diva segment doesn't count, because the only reason I still remember that is because of my hatred towards it resulting in me nearly putting a fist through the screen...

...Ok, perhaps a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the point. :)

I think it's a mixture of the strict safety rules the WWE now operates as well as not wanting any of their top stars outshone on the program. I know i'll remember a Super Crazy balcony dive much more than a JBL match

No, definitely not. Ropes alone don't do Super Crazy justice. Although, I'm still pretty sure that they can do more with him than only allow him one backflip in a match, no? At ONS he managed 5 as well as the balcony leap, so naturally I'm expecting a little more from him. I'm assuming the WWE are scared he'll botch as well, which isn't great confidence to show in some of your top talents.

Was his first match on Smackdown and anyone's going to be nervous about that. Add to that a 450 splash isn't exactly an easy move to pull off and we come to the botch. Course in the land of *punch, punch, chop, chop, chop, power move, chop, punch, punch, trademark move, finisher* that is the WWE it wouldn't surprise me to see him start using the Juvi Driver as his finisher now.

Though i'm still under the view that Super Crazy isn't Super Crazy without some balconies to jump off :-D

Yes, but if I was that desperately in need of seeing some female skin, there's always the adult channel on TV or the internet. Believe it or not, as a wrestling fan I watch wrestling to see wrestling; not to see a couple of talentless bints roll about trying to rip each other's clothes off.

In another SmackDown-related matter, I wonder if they'll now try to tone down Juicey's high-flying moves after he completely botched that 450 onto London's face. I'm kind of fearing the worst, despite the fact that this would pretty much ruin Juvi. Psicosis and Super Crazy are nowhere near as athletic as him, and right now he should be showcased as the real high-flier in the "Mexicools" - however, as I said I've got a feeling they're going to be attempting to control him a little more and introduce some more down-to-earth manoeuvres. But come on, even the best make mistakes... a statement to which The Juice, of course, applies.

There's an old saying about something only being desireable until you've seen it for the hundreth time.

We all get to see Torrie and Melina wearing next to nothing on TV week after week, so why should we get excited about them stripping down just because it's done in the context of a 'match'?
