Same as the RAW thread. You all seem to think it's a good idea so I made a smackdown thread. Just discuss what happens on smackdown, week in, week out. Remember NO SPOILERS but if you really have to post one, make sure you give everyone a chance to watch the show.

Interestingly, it looks as though both Jamie Knoble (wrestling lately as James Gibson) and Spanky are going to return to WWE in the near future.

Surprises me quite a bit, especially in the case of Spanky (don't really see what's changed since he left, except for more cruisers being laid off and Paul London getting the belt having actually stuck around), and I could understand why this might not excite a lot of WWE fans because neither guy got to do all that much while with the E, but still, I'm pleased and quite optimistic that maybe WWE will have to start using some of these cruisers to deflect attention away from TNA's X Division (especially if TNA can impress Spike enough to put them on Mondays).

I still haven't forgiven him for calliong CM Punk, Chad Collyer and vice versa.

Unforgiveable for a commentator to get a wrestlers name wrong, even when they aren't regulars, but especially when they looks as different as CM and Chad do and they called them correctly when they wrestled singles matches the week before...

Bring Joey Styles in on commentary and Todd Pettingill back to do the backstage bits :-D

I have to say I really don't mind Josh Matthews at all - he's into the matches, and gives good back-story on a lot of them, and he's the only one I remember who refers to other promotions.

Romero never has an argument with another commentator which is annoying because all commentators argue with each other to see both sides of an argument even if one side is blatantly untrue and lame. King argues with JR, Coach argues with JR, Tazz argues with Cole, Coach argues with Grisham...basically everyone argues and it is sometimes funny or good to listen to. However Romero bumlicks Matthews and agrees with everything he says which is really dull in my opinion.

I was going to get round to the fire Romero and Matthews plea, hard to enjoy Velocity with those two idiots running their mouths
