Same as the RAW thread. You all seem to think it's a good idea so I made a smackdown thread. Just discuss what happens on smackdown, week in, week out. Remember NO SPOILERS but if you really have to post one, make sure you give everyone a chance to watch the show.

P.S. Lets keep this different from Your Shout.

You and I obviously have different opinions of what a good match is. I prefer a chokeslam to a mere tap in the face with a boot. A chokeslam is something that provokes a believable reaction rather than what I would call "oversells" (see Nunzio's reaction to the 619 two weeks ago). Let me ask you this, in a "legitimate" combat sport, say boxing, does a lightweight ever win the Heavyweight title? Vince clearly has a more crystal view of what is realistic, and what is just plain ridiculous. In a combat sport, the big guy has always dominated the small guy. The big guy can lift up the small guy over his head, and so drop him from a more dangerous height. The small guy can barely lift the big guy, so, rather than challenge him, he will never be a top fighter in his sport. Instead he will fight the smaller ones, the lighter ones, the arguably more talented but less...impossible ones; the Cruiserweight league for example. In regards to your comments about great matches of our company's history, I hope that one day you will learn to appreciate the very men that built this company, upheld this company, and strengthened this company to its 2000-2001 stage which, unfortunately, has deteriorated since. You may not be familiar with the Bossman’s earlier days, but he had one of the greatest most charismatic personalities of all wrestling history, only which could be matched by Paul Bearer, Gangrel and the great Tazz. I am aware of Ultimo Dragon’s “legendary” (and I use that term loosely) history. I however, have never been interested in low-lifes, failures, misfits, nervous wrecks, the underdogs, the unsuccessful, the unwilling, the victimized, the pulverised, and/or miscellaneous.

…nuff said.

That loser just happens to be a legend in the business and craps on anything that A-train and Big Show have ever achieved. I'd much rather watch Ultimo and Rey have exciting matches then see those to heavyweights lumber around the ring punching someone for 5 minutes then chuck in the occasional slam. Also Ultimo and Rey put on what i believe to be one of the worlds greatest squash matches a few years back in 96 i think and from what i see around gamefaqs many share the same opinion.

Can you name any matches that weren't ages ago?

That's meant to be a good thing??

Exciting ones.

I agree because Vince can't seem to get past the idea that unless your over 6'3 and around 300 pounds you can't become a world champion. (with occasional exceptions) ECW had guys like Justin Credible win the main belt and he put on some awesome matches and he wasn't tall or heavy.

So now instead of putting wrestlers that are actually exciting to watch in the main events we just put guys who have been here the longest?? Brooklyn Brawler vs Sgt Slaughter for the Unforgiven main event then.
I might have some respect for them if they do anything to earn it but they haven't. Ever since Big Show left WCW he's just put on weight and become rubbish and i'm yet to see a decent match that involves A-train. You don't just get respect you have to earn it and these guys haven't done anything to earn mine.

A-Train i felt a couple of weeks ago deserved a title shot instead of lesnar angle bigshow.Give sean o'haire, billy gunn,rhyno,undertaker,a-train a chance even though i am not the biggest fan of the a-train.

Kidman and Mysterio have plenty of uneffective moves that are frankly boring and make Al Snow weep with pity. Big Show and A-Train have several powerful and awesome moves that provokes the "Ah, that's likey to cause the lower back a certain level of...discomfort" feeling. Mysterio's moves provoke only the "BORING" chant.

bigshow and a-train have a limited amount of moves while kidman and mysterio have loads of moves and the are way quicker than bigshow and a-train.

Who don't deserve to be on SmackDown? Wait a minute, now these guys have been here for a damn long period of time compared to Mysterio and that other loser, Ultimo Dragon. First of all, don't forget who made fantastic main events with Mankind (WrestleMania 15), and The Rock (Royal Rumble 2000 and No Way Out 2000). It was the Big Show, who also headlined WrestleMania 16, and did a damn good job of it. Prince Albert (now A-Train) was actually IN LEAGUE with the great Big Bossman. What the hell kind of main events would cruiserweights make? As far as ranks go, the WWE Championship is considerably higher and, as a result, the main events usually revolve around that title. Now ain't no cruiserweight gonna win that title. It just so happens that Big Show is a lot more powerful than any cruiserweight and so he can inflict a lot more punishment on losers like Zachary Gowen. Don't forget A-Train and Big Show have been here a damn sight longer than Rey Mysterio and Kidman and thus, earned a place in main events. Have some damn respect.

I want them to give Sean O'Haire a push. He's got lots of potential and yet he rarely appears after they put him with that awful roddy piper.

Or all of them. Each is deserving enough.
