The pace wasn't right, it took an hour to get into the actual story, when whathisface got killed by Bullseye and Elektra thought it was Daredevil.
Before that we did have a couple of scenes of Daredevil hunting down and sorting out people, but it wasn't relevant to the plot, really.
Look at Batman Returns, the way that Batman and Catwoman clash a number of times, and the way it develops betweeen there human characters, and their alter-ego's. With this, Elektra and Daredevil only fought once, when it would have been better if the death of her father happened in the first half hour, and it went on from there.
Colin Farrell was good as Bullseye though, I enjoyed his performance.
Kingpin wasn't particularly menacing either. "Oh no, I got kicked in the legs, I'm finished!"
It wasn't a complete write-off, it did have it's moments, but mostly it was disappointing.
