Rented this over the weekend, not impressed.

The pace wasn't right, it took an hour to get into the actual story, when whathisface got killed by Bullseye and Elektra thought it was Daredevil.

Before that we did have a couple of scenes of Daredevil hunting down and sorting out people, but it wasn't relevant to the plot, really.

Look at Batman Returns, the way that Batman and Catwoman clash a number of times, and the way it develops betweeen there human characters, and their alter-ego's. With this, Elektra and Daredevil only fought once, when it would have been better if the death of her father happened in the first half hour, and it went on from there.

Colin Farrell was good as Bullseye though, I enjoyed his performance.

Kingpin wasn't particularly menacing either. "Oh no, I got kicked in the legs, I'm finished!"

It wasn't a complete write-off, it did have it's moments, but mostly it was disappointing.

For 10 year old super hero 'wannabes' maybe but I thought it was a load of balls. Over hyped, love driven non sense with some terrible acting. I have a pretty decent taste in films and Spider-Man was a case of hype over substance and if I want a decent action film I usually stick with Michael Mann and Jerry Bruckheimer productions as they have made some of the best action films of the past 15 years.

It suffered because it didn't allow the camera to keep up with the fight scenes. Tha bit at the bar in the beginning was just nonsense - you didn't know who he was fighting, what he was doing or even which way up he was. Trying to be too clever for its own good.

Matrix Reloaded got the camera down.

That would've clued people in to the fact that he was blind. If people see the eyeholes, they assume it's because he needs to see.

I quite liked it, brainless fun. Still, it would have been a billion times better if the Daredevil mask didn't have eyes.

Its better than the dreadful non sense that was Spider-Man. I don't think Daredevil ever set out to be anything other than c cheap thrill of an action moive which you would rent with some of your mates for a bit of fun. Spider-Man however was surrounded by a lot of hype and it turned out to be an appauling film in my opinion. The days of your classic movies are finished and now it just seems to be a battle of who will take the biggest money in its first weekend.

The likes of Goodfellas, Heat, Raging Bull etc will never be matched and as the years go on the films get considerably shallower. Daredevil was a reasonable rental with some top DTS audio. Considering the fact that there aren't any new films worth getting on DVD I don't think Daredevil was all that bad and what it set out to do I believe it reached its goal. Corny acting, predictable story, stolen ideas and some cheap fight scenes are all present. However there wasn't any hype surrounding it and as an action film I enjoyed it whilst it lasted.

Yeah, I wasn't impressed when I saw it at the cinema. It just didn't have a plot in my opinion, because the thing with her believing Daredevil killed her dad happened late in the film.

A mate of mine said they tried to cram years worth of comic book storylines into one film, and obviously it didn't work.

Some of the action was alright, but there wasn't enough of it. Some people said it was "action packed" Pft.

Elektra was a ho - she jumped into bed with B-Flek after one chance meeting. Slapper.
