Five songs for you to download:
Common - This Is Me
A Tribe Called Quest - Check The Rhyme
Grand Puba - 360 degrees (What Goes Around)
Pete Rock & CL Smooth - They Reminisce Over You
and a more sentimental song:
Ghostface Killah & Mary J. Blige - All That I've Got Is You

I found that one out the other day.
I borrowed a friend's CDR, so I have no idea who it was, or if it was an album or compilation (although the tracks seemed to go into one another, they might've been mixed because the guy is a DJ) because it sometimes sounds like there's different people on different tracks.
It's pretty good stuff though.
None of this flouncing "Niggga from da Ghetto!!!111!1!!!" gimmickery bull that's being paraded around on TV and the like.
"now someone needs to slap 'em. They're try'n to turn hiphop into just plain rapping"
I am now going to quote random lines to see if anyone can tell me what I'm listening to. My friend'll know but I don't see him for 2 weeks! :-)
"YOU! You've got what I neeeed! But you say he's just a friend!"
"The court is now in session"
"The most influential men, have influential friends, and I'll put the squeeze on all of them"
And fresh recommendations won't go amiss either! ;-)

*Gasp* The offensiveness.
Sign up and go on that page and look for Nature Of The Threat towards the bottom and click MP3.
Go to sing365 if you can't keep up with the lyrics.
