We seem to be starting quite a few at the moment, so lets keep it all in one place.

This is your centre for enquiring about/recommending/talking about any albums, songs or rappers.

Enjoy.

Q-Tip has a new song with Busta Rhymes which sucks.

I like the Breathe & Stop/Don't Stop Till You Get Enough remix though.

Can't think of too many of Q-Tip's solo hits, only did one album. However he has guested on loads of quality tracks, Buddy by De La Soul & Get it together with the Beasties to name just two. His best work by far though is as 1/3 of 'A tribe Called Quest'!

Check out 'Midnight Mauraders' an absolute classic and probably my favourite hip hop album. In the De La Soul 'jazz sampled' mould but much slicker!

They're from the early nineties. It's the start of hip hop, really - they basically invented using samples from old jazz records and that to make new songs.

Yeh, I recognise some of De La Soul's tracks, I never knew they did them songs tbh.

Are they an old group? Their music seems to be slightly old skool.

Hove, man. It's his name, from Jahova - J Hova - Hova - Hove. He's been calling himself that for ages. Never Let Me Down is my favourite track from TCD.

For Mozzy - If you download 'The Magic Number', 'Eye Know' and 'Me, Myself & I' you will realise that you have heard some De La Soul before. Also, if you like it, I suggest you check out A Tribe Called Quest as well. From them I reccommend 'Stressed Out', '1nce Again', 'Check the Rhyme' and 'Jazz (We've Got)'.
