We seem to be starting quite a few at the moment, so lets keep it all in one place.

This is your centre for enquiring about/recommending/talking about any albums, songs or rappers.

Enjoy.

At least it's original, I've heard "play you like Sega" in about 6 different songs now. Black Moon came up with it, House of Pain copied it and now four other artists ripped it off.

I definately recommend 'Midnight Mauraders' its top quality and easily ATCQ's best album (IMO)

A Momment of Truth is also really good, I bought 'Full clip - a decade of Gangstarr' first so thought I would have heard all the best tracks, but there some more gems on there, especially 'Its a set up' with Hanibal, who I had never heard of before, but his verse very slick!

In terms of hip-hop at the moment, I need Midnight Marauders, Brand Nubian's One For All, Gangstarr's Moment of Truth and maybe The D.O.C's first album, and obviously the new Kanye album, and then I think I'll take a break from getting Hip-Hop albums and move onto more indie stuff for a while.

It's not really a genre at all.

Anyone who's left dry by Late Registration's late registration, I suggest you pick up Little Brother's 'The Chitlin Circuit 1.5'. Good album and worth the admission price. Nice and chilled out, old school reminiscent with jazz samples and whatnot. Can't quite place who he reminds me of.

I suppose he is.

The genre isn't bad though.

He's R&B

That genre already had a bad image in the first place.

That's the first track off Amplified, right? Great track, great album in fact.

Gutted Late Registration has been knocked back yet again. Tried picking it up in the States but it's delayed over there too.

The Game's album isn't that bad really. I acquired it on a try before you buy basis. It's not awful, but I won't be buying a legit copy.

Anyone heard the new 'effort' from Akon? Why doesn't he just take a razor to his artery, he's awful and he's giving the genre a bad image!

I'll be buying it from the original B-Boy hip-hop centre that is Sainsbury's. I live close to it lol and they have most chart CDs for 9.79, I doubt I'll find it much cheaper on the net at this current time and it means I can definitely get it on the day.

You?
