It was, but unfortunately seemed out of place in the current wrestling climate. It was a big risk and one that I'm glad paid of.
On a similar note, did anyone see UK Round-Up on TWC last night? Colt Cabana, who is a terrific indie worker had a match with some English guy where they both worked in a classic British 'World of Sport' style. The commentators were obviously clued in as they completely switched their commentary style to fit. The fans didn't know what to make of it. I thought it was brilliant!

if so then yes, it was absolutely brilliant. pure wrestling at it's finest. both men deserved that ovation thoroughly.
