The full nelso was last used as a finishing move by the WWE in the mid 80's when Hercules Hernades and Billy Jack Haynes both used the move to make their opponents submit. They even had a brief feud over who had the better full nelson.

give him a bit of a chance though, it must be nerve-wracking making your tv debut.
one question i must ask though:
how is a full nelson in any way a finishing move?? :S
masters is a big guy, he must be able to some decent looking power moves.
