I think this seems like a good idea but if you guys don't like it just let it die, however, if this works out I'll make a smackdown thread soon enough.

They seem to give new wrestlers "unbreakable" holds and as soon as they get broken everyone does it week in week out.
The only submission hold I can remember that was never broken apart from the opponent getting to the ropes is Bob Backlunds "Cross face chicken wing".
Bret Hart's sharpshooter could be another one? The only time I can remember it being broken is at the infamous Survivour Series 97 when he broke out of it after Shawn Michaels put it on him altough he apparantly "submitted" in the infamous screwjob before it was broken.

Agreed, I think he does that well, and the finisher weren't bad. I think his wrestling looked a bit tentative though, he may have been nervous.
Cade, on the other hand, has always impressed me, even moreso with his new character which is perfect for him.
Cade's pretty decent (As we already know), but Murdoch's in-ring work was shoddy and the only real part of the match that I liked was the finish.
I wouldn't say he didn't look the part, cause he does in the promo's. If he had a change of attire then he'd look more the part.
Besides, I like the fact that he's suppose to be the 'wild, uncontrollable cowboy' type character anyway.

because you can't sit out of a full nelson without
1) the other guy letting you
2) twisting in some unholy ways
:D
TECHnically, the masterlock was broken when masters' hands came apart after shawn dropped down and bashed him with the turnbuckle.. but no-one seemed bothered... almost like it's not real eh?
I have seen that counter so many times but no-one uses it in the masterlock challenge.
And yeah your right about the ropes, that should break it. Unless they mean it has to physically be broken :S rather than broken by the rules.
Womens match was terrible, but in fairness, at least Ashley is trying. By the end of the year she should improve a lot more.
I am hoping Trish will come back as a face and team with Ashley.
As with Murdoch and Cade...liked Cade but Murdoch annoys me. Cade seems the more charasmatic and potentially funny of the two.
Ah well, managed to catch the tailend of Cena getting whooped by Angle. Angle actually does a more convincing rap promo talking about real recognising real then Cena does
Hmmm nope Gayda vs Stratus 2002 still has its crown as most laughable display of a wrestling match ever
Chavo's entrance music = gold. Makes up for the crappy gimmick almost
What's up with all this make your debut and get a win over the champ business, is it supposed to make me care about them from the start? Just smacks of a writing team to lazy to do proper builds anymore.
A Chris Mazzzzzters *highlight* package? How's that even possible. I love comments that are meant to be serious but are unintentionally hilarious. *when i put the masterlock on Michaels the show will be stopped* Don't doubt it for one minute Chris, everyone will be asleep or have left the building
I asked last week what was so special about the masterlock the arm only has to drop once, after tonight i have another question. What's so special about the masterlock that getting to the ropes doesn't qualify as breaking it? It is just another submission move correct?
Anyway i failed the masterlock challenge again, again i nodded off, curses :-D
