Roll on 6pm!
-----------------
"Negotiations between Manchester United and Paris St Germain and representatives of Ronaldinho have been ongoing for several weeks," said a United statement. "In order to bring talks to a conclusion the club has spoken again to Paris St Germain and the players' representatives and following our final written offer submitted on Friday morning, we have notified all parties that unless an agreement is reached by 7pm Central European time today, Manchester United will withdraw from the process."

I think it is a positive move by United and hopefully it will be good news.
> Well at least Fergie and United have learned something from all this.
> Don't ever deal with french clubs.
The French always will try to keep players for as long as possible, and quite often get their FA involved if someone gets upset: No wonder Cantona branded them "Pigs and idioits".
Also, the French have a lot of faith in their league, and national team. For God's sake, Calais, who were in the National (French Division 3, but they were recently relegated I think) got to the cup final!
> It is greed, yes, but it's also clever.
Not really, because everyone in world football can see what an ar$e he is and would think twice about negotiating with him in the future, unless of course they have a spare 4 months or so?
What if Leeds held Liverpool to ransome over Kewell and dragged the transfer on and on over 4/5 months?
What if all transfer's were like this?
Holding out for a large sum of money is one thing but when your talking nearly £20 mil? and he wants more.....
I call that greed.
> Graile is trying to get every penny out of United possible.
I think he's entitled to be, considering he's about to lose one of the best players in the world.

He's no Ronaldinho, but as you say Ronnie could turn out like Veron...
Graile is trying to get every penny out of United possible.
I truly dont believe Barca are in Pole position, but it's a simple ploy to make United increase their offer.
La Porta was quoted as saying he would not get involved in an Aution yet thats exactly what he has done today? - that makes no sense.
If I were United i'd say take it with a £19 mill reportdly offered and if not there allways a certain Duff available for £17 mil whose wanting to stay in Lancashire and is a proven Premiership player.
